About Marsha
I sit with people at the threshold
I came to this work the way many doulas do — by accompanying someone I loved through their final season, and discovering how much gentleness the hours can hold when someone steadfast is present.
I'm Marsha Wenskay, and I now walk alongside families across Lexington and Michigan's Thumb — offering planning, vigil, and aftercare with reverence and calm. My work is simple and human: to make sure no one faces the end of life alone, and that families look back on this time with tenderness.
What guides me
How I show up
Unhurried
I move at the pace of the person and family I serve — never the clock.
Listening first
Presence over answers. I follow your wishes, beliefs, and rhythms.
Steady
Calm continuity in tender hours, so families can simply be together.
How I practice
Care you can trust
- Non-medical, and always alongside your team — I complement hospice and medical care, and never replace it.
- Guided by the established Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics for end-of-life doulas.
- A free first conversation, and clear, written costs before we ever begin — no surprises.
My hope is simple: that no one feels alone at the end, and that families look back on this time with tenderness.
